- Spacecoin targets $100 million revenue through exclusive Vietnam telecom partnership.
- Decentralized satellites, blockchain, and Edge AI power Vietnam rollout.
- Vietnam agreement could guide Spacecoin’s expansion across emerging markets.
With a new telecomms contract in Vietnam, Spacecoin is aiming for a $100 million annual revenue. The decentralized infrastructure company signed a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DETI Technology Vietnam to launch satellite communications, blockchain infrastructure, sovereign routing and Edge AI services in Vietnam, the firm said in a statement shared by Crypto Briefing.
Both companies want to ride on the regulatory approvals and the revenue is the sticking point in the partnership. Moreover, DETI is exclusively awarded the development and distribution rights of Spacecoin’s technologies in Vietnam for 3 years. Both companies will be creating and rolling out satellite networks for specific local market requirements. Moreover, the first rollout will be to major Vietnamese telecoms operators Mobifone and Gtel.
The alliance will enhance Spacecoin’s footprint in Southeast Asia and lay the groundwork for Air India’s commercial ventures in one of the digital markets with the fastest growth in the region. Vietnam is thus an important market for the firm’s overall expansion plan.

Technology rollout designed to support revenue ambitions
The statement outlines the “four interconnected components” technology stack Spacecoin will employ. Decentralized satellite telecom will minimize reliance on a single network operator and minimise reliance on the traditional ground infrastructure. At the same time, data traffic will also be kept local and within the national boundaries of Vietnam by the sovereign routing technology. Concurrently, sovereign routing technology will also maintain data traffic local and within the country’s borders in Vietnam.Furthermore, with the Sovereign routing technology, control and sovereignty will be maintained over the flow of data, which will stay inside the country’s borders. Its aim is to enable the country to watch over the communications networks and reduce reliance on foreign-owned equipment.

Data processing will be performed near the source of data generation with Edge AI, which will reduce bandwidth usage and latency. Moreover, blockchain will be used to assist with coordinating network operations and take care of settlement functions throughout the ecosystem. Tae Oh, the head of Spacecoin, is in the midst of an era of rapid growth in launching and deploying satellites. The company’s long-term goals are in line with Vietnam’s desire to embrace advanced communications infrastructure, he added.
Vietnam agreement could guide future market expansion
The Vietnam pact is the most formalised commercial agreement announced so far by Spacecoin. As a result, the company views the partnership as a potential model for entering additional markets Spacecoin has already collaborated with others in Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia and Cambodia and is looking to expand to more nations. The governments, telecom operators and Internet service providers are testing in those countries using the company’s existing in-orbit CTC-1 satellites, the statement said.
Moreover, the company will continue to research new telecom segments where other solutions are becoming popular. The Vietnam collaboration offers Spacecoin an opportunity to showcase how the technology can enable large-scale commercial operations as well as further its revenue goals. Spacecoin has signed a exclusive deal with DETI, and has pledged to target an annual income of $100 million as a key element of its Vietnam plan. The partnership could then be expanded to other parts of Asia and Africa, once regulatory approvals are granted.
