Sony has introduced Soneium For All, a new incubator program that helps applications for consumer and gaming services grow faster on the company’s Ethereum Layer-2 network Soneium. With this initiative, Sony tries to launch ready-to-use projects and build a strong reputation in blockchain by offering interesting games, better user experiences, and desired content.
Sony Innovation Fund supports the incubator, which is created using the Optimism OP Stack by Sony Block Solutions Labs. It enables the network to handle more users, do transactions faster, and charge lower fees. Due to the 7-million-user ecosystem, Sony offers developers the opportunity to design on a solid and thriving Layer-2 service.

Web3 Experience Enhancement
The application process ends on June 30. Those selected will get grants of up to $60,000, mentoring from program experts, and the chance to present their ideas to Sony’s venture capital teams during a special Demo Day. More support involves organizing marketing campaigns, using social media, hosting AMA sessions, and doing livestreams to make teams visible.
However, the incubator works mainly on projects that provide value to users. Development efforts aim at enhancing how people connect on the Web3 platforms, improving overall experience, and encouraging users to be regular visitors. Sony will give more attention to projects that are consistent with its entertainment and gaming plans.
Soneium handles more than 1.11 million transactions each day and has secured a total value of $165 million. While, the company is involved with intellectual properties, including Solo Levelling, Seven Deadly Sins, Ghost in the Shell, and Sony’s robotic friend Aibo. The development and growth of these alliances emphasize Web3 Entertainment’s role as an entertainment innovation platform.
Sony Enhances Transaction Speed
Sony is also involved in developing decentralized identity by teaming up with Animoca Brands and San FranTokyo. They worked together to bring Anime ID to life. Which means people can bring their anime looks to various decentralized applications. However, it makes it possible for users to customize their experience on the network and use it across different systems.

Soneium has introduced a Fast Finality Layer, teamed up with Astar, AltLayer, and EigenLayer to enhance its technical performance. The improved method makes transactions settle in a fraction of the time, allowing for quick and hassle-free operations across chains for developers and users.
Despite the earlier concerns about how contracts would be handled when the mainnet launched, Sony continues to aim for 100 million new users. The company is using Soneium to combine the technology of Web3 with its entertainment services.
