- TRON’s USDT bridging increased by 76% in 2025, reaching $9.9 billion, demonstrating its leadership in cross-chain liquidity.
- The increased bridging activity reflects broad user participation, with many smaller transactions across diverse addresses.
- Ethereum assets flow more into TRON, making it a key liquidity hub, while TRON’s transfer to Ethereum remains low.
The bridging activity of USDT in TRON experienced a significant increase in 2025. An analyst at CryptoQuant highlighted that the total value bridged in the TRON network has seen a 76 percent increase, up to $9.9 billion. This is a marked rise compared to 2024, with its value of $5.6 billion. Its growth demonstrates the dominance of TRON in cross-chain liquidity and the increasing importance of the resource in blockchain interoperability.

Bridges are connections between different blockchains, where assets could transfer across blockchains safely. They assist in keeping the supply of tokens stable, and it facilitates liquidity between various networks.
This would enable the users to utilize different blockchain capabilities, like reduced costs and more transaction speed, without a limitation to a single network. The introduction of the bridging system by TRON has proved to be vital in establishing these connections.

TRON’s Bridging Activity Soars to $8.4 Billion
The largest bridging project on TRON is Bridgers, which moved $8.4 billion in assets so far this year. Activity of bridging transactions and addresses has been skyrocketing since July 2024. On July 17, the network registered 7,500 daily exchanges, which is the highest number ever recorded. This represents a 19-fold growth over the corresponding period in 2024. On the following day, the active addresses were 5,000, an increase of 31 times compared to the previous year.

This increased activity indicates that much bridging is being done by individual users. The mean transaction count is usually between one and three per active address. This implies that the trades are not captured in a couple of huge accounts but are distributed amongst many users. The effective infrastructure of TRON has also enabled smaller users to get involved in bridging easily.
Ethereum Shifts Assets, Boosting Liquidity Across Blockchains
More Ethereum assets are exiting TRON than entering it. In August 2025, the Ethereum locked up on TRON to USDT approached a maximum of $7.7 million. In June, the bridged funds were worth about $19 million in ERC20 tokens, mainly USDC. This shows that TRON has emerged as a major source of liquidity. Conversely, it has a low flow of TRON tokens towards Ethereum. Ethereum has received only 2000 USDT and 700000 TRC20 tokens.

The position of TRON as a liquidity layer is steadily expanding. It has an efficient bridging network that will maintain interoperability across blockchains. As more users use the features of TRON, it will become increasingly crucial to the blockchain ecosystem.
