- Ripple Swell 2025 to be hosted in financial capital.
- Top finance leaders confirmed as keynote speakers for Swell event.
- Legal win and acquisition set tone for Ripple’s next phase.
Ripple has officially confirmed that its annual Swell conference will take place on November 4 and 5, 2025. This year’s event will be hosted in New York City, marking a strategic shift to the world’s financial hub.
The blockchain-based enterprise company even announced its first speaker list before launching the conference. Among the confirmed names are Sandy Kaul, the head of innovation at Franklin Templeton, and Ryan Rugg, whose firm is heading digital assets at Citibank.
In 2017, Ripple introduced the Swell conference at a meeting in Toronto. It hosted it in San Francisco in 2018, with former US President Bill Clinton as the keynote speaker. That year also saw Ripple reveal its xRapid product and register a significant XRP price run-up before the situation.

The 2019 edition, held in Singapore, saw Ripple claim that more than 300 customers were using its on-demand liquidity solution. Most recently, Ripple hosted Swell 2023 in Dubai and Swell 2024 in Miami. The event has been used every year to announce strategic initiatives.
Swell 2025 Comes After Ripple’s Legal Victory and Expansion Moves
The 2024 conference concentrated on the Ripple RLUSD early partnerships, and this stablecoin is a major component of Ripple. This year’s New York backdrop implies an increased emphasis on facing US financial institutions and regulators.
After the company settled a decades-long case against the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Ripple’s Swell 2025 meeting comes after a significant legal breakthrough. That court case has clarified XRP and its application in Ripple products.
In April, Ripple also announced a purchase of 1.25B, which is supposed to protect its position on the market. The firm also sought a national banking license in the United States, another indication that it was planning to dive further into regulated financial services.
Market observers view the time and place of this year’s Swell conference as important. Holding Ripple in New York seems to indicate that the company is moving closer to the traditional financial sector.
Ripple’s decision to hold the 2025 Swell conference in New York reflects its renewed US focus following key regulatory and business developments. The two-day event is anticipated to contribute considerably to Ripple’s positioning for the next chapter of growth.
