Ripple devoted $25 million to support DonorsChoose and Teach For America education nonprofits. The primary source of financing for this effort will be RLUSD stablecoins that the firm developed with U.S. dollar backing. The program delivers financial backing to American schools through literacy, financial literacy, and STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics teaching initiatives. Nationwide educational programs, alongside teachers and students, will receive benefits from the donation.
DonorsChoose operates as a platform for teachers to request classroom resources through donations from the funds provided. Through this donation funding will enable Teach For America to grow its Ignite tutoring program that extends educational help to students. The funds Ripple provides will back the national STEM Innovation Challenge by supporting teacher training expenses and implementing student financial education curricula across schools.
