Samsung Electronics has partnered with Coinbase to make accessing crypto more convenient for Galaxy users in the United States. The new partnership, initially announced in July, enables users to purchase cryptocurrency directly within the Coinbase application using Samsung Pay.

This new feature aims to make crypto transactions more straightforward and more secure on Samsung’s platform.

Also, Samsung Wallet users will have a three-month subscription to Coinbase One at no cost. This premium plan will offer zero trade commissions on select assets, increased staking options, and exclusive member benefits. The first trade at Coinbase can also earn Samsung Wallet users a $25 credit.

Streamlining Mobile Transactions with Coinbase and Samsung Wallet

Such integration enables users to track and manage their crypto holdings, create mobile transactions, and access other services all on a single platform. Samsung Wallet already features in-store payments, car unlocking, and displaying digital IDs.

The process of making crypto transactions is now seamlessly integrated with users’ normal financial operations through the integration of Coinbase.

Business Partnering with Samsung-Coinbase

Through the integration of Samsung’s extensive reach with the trusted platform at Coinbase, the alliance will cover more than 75 million Galaxy users in the U.S. This step marks a significant shift toward growing crypto adoption, offering more options for interacting with digital currency.

Users will have even more convenience in carrying out both traditional and digital financial activities as Samsung continues to develop the functions of its Wallet.

The addition of functionality in Samsung Wallet enhances the value it offers to customers. They are now able to access a broader range of financial products and services on their phones, including crypto management.

Samsung is upgrading its Wallet ecosystem to enable users to deal with digital keys, memberships, and even peer-to-peer transfers on a single platform.

The collaboration also strengthens Samsung as a player in the emerging fintech ecosystem, providing both crypto enthusiasts and everyday consumers with a more convenient mobile experience.

This is another step toward incorporating crypto into daily financial tools, making it more accessible to people throughout the U.S.
