Donald Trump held the White House Crypto Summit for the first time on March 7. The party is anticipated to play a pivotal role in developing the laws regarding digital assets in the US. This summit will take place between 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm UTC.
More than 25 attendees, including people in high offices and crypto leaders, are expected. On Fox Business, Eleanor Terrett said that 11 people from the crypto industry and 2 from the White House have agreed to attend. However, the number and identity of the attendees are not clear. Bo Hines and David Sacks are certain to perform, but others might be included in the list.
Crypto Leaders Expected
The executive order indicates that Bessent from the treasury department, Howard Lutnick, is under the commerce department, and Pam Bondi, the attorney general, could attend. Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, previously hinted that he would be attending the event. On March 2, he posted on X, “I will certainly continue to champion this while in Washington at the end of this week,” Garlinghouse wrote. The Trump team created the invitations on March 4; Garlinghouse was one of the executives who received the invitation.

Crypto Policy and Representation
With the upcoming crypto leaders summit, the Crypto community demands the invitation of representatives of companies such as ARK Invest, with its key founder Cathie Wood, Ethereum, with its founder Vitalik Buterin, Circle, with Jeremy Allaire, Tether, with Paolo Ardoino, Cardano, with Charles Hoskinson, and Solana, with Anatoly Yakovenko.“A larger, invite-only reception is being planned across the street from the White House for those not invited to the roundtable meeting” Terrett said
The summit comes as concerns arise about Trump’s approach to cryptocurrencies. According to the latest statements by Commerce Secretary Lutnick, Bitcoin’s policy treatment may be unique. The president of the USA was aware of a Bitcoin strategic reserve in an interview with The Pavlovic Today on March 5. Trump’s stand on other cryptocurrencies is still ambiguous. “Then it will be the issue of approaching other digital currencies,” Lutnick said. “I believe the model will be unveiled on Friday when we do that.”
