- Easily discover and bid on tokens with Uniswap’s new auctions.
- Participate in continuous auctions before tokens are widely available.
- Automated, transparent liquidity formation for fair price discovery.
Uniswap is enhancing its Web App with the integration of Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCAs), enabling users to access ongoing and upcoming token auctions more easily. Intended to streamline the user experience with liquidity-bootstrapping auctions and find new tokens, the feature will become available on February 2nd. Using the Auctions button on the Explore page, they will have an opportunity to see live and upcoming CCAs, monitor their progress, make bids, and receive tokens through the app.
This revision will be of great benefit to token teams and users, as it provides premature entry of tokens on the auction market, allowing users to buy tokens before they become available to everyone on the platform. For tokens already in circulation, this feature helps teams distribute supply and create liquidity in a controlled and transparent environment. In contrast to liquidity formation in a conventional behind-the-scenes setup, where there is usually a lack of transparency, on-chain, transparent auctions via CCAs give the opportunity to set the price based on the real-time demand.

The CCAs operate 24 hours a day, making them less prone to sniping and price fixing, and provide a stable and competitive market price. After the auction is over, liquidity is generated automatically at Uniswap v4 at the price determined by the auction. This is done with an opportunity to discover the price in a more efficient and market-driven way.
Better Transparency and User Experience in the Auctions Tab
The Auctions tab will be a smooth and user-friendly platform for both the token teams and the users. To users, the interface will allow them to access the details of an auction easily by giving them the time of the auction, the amount bid, and the activity taking place, even in the past. Such a simplified design enables an individual to watch several auctions simultaneously and place a bid directly on a platform they are used to.
Furthermore, the token teams will enjoy the privilege of having an automatic interface to assist their CCAs. This will remove the process of developing and testing their own front-end, and they can concentrate on methods of distributing tokens. According to the policies of Uniswap Labs, the system of Uniswap will automatically index the auctions, putting all the relevant information about the auctions in a single place.
A Proven Success
The CCA feature has already been proven to be functioning as Aztec successfully auctioned in November 2025. This event offered $60 million in a competition involving more than 17,000 persons with no incidents of sniping or rigging. The fully on-chain auction implemented by Aztec demonstrated the potential effectiveness of utilising the transparency of price discovery and the effectiveness of liquidity formation.
Continuous Clearing Auctions being integrated into the Uniswap Web App will make the process of token discoveries and liquidity creation more user-friendly, transparent, and efficient for both users and token teams. The Auctions tab helps to eliminate the complexity of finding new tokens and auctioning, as well as monitoring the distribution of tokens in progress. Uniswap is making the process of liquidity bootstrapping and pricing easier in a decentralised context with automated indexing and a user-friendly bidding interface.
