OpenAI, the company behind popular AI applications like ChatGPT, is reportedly developing a new social network designed to address one of the most significant issues plaguing existing platforms: bot activity. OpenAI has a social network that will focus on distinguishing itself in the marketplace by being a real humans-only platform, according to those knowledgeable about the project. This vision is the follow-up to the growing disappointment over automated accounts that imitate human behaviour, eroding the discourse and inflating social media metrics.
Although the project remains in its initial phases of development, some new security features are anticipated to be incorporated into the social network, which might include biometric identity verification. The use of an Apple Face ID or a superior biometric solution, including the World Orb, which was created by the Tools for Humanity, is one of the possibilities to be considered.
